Here's the problem
ONE BILLION KIDS
live in poverty
According to UNICEF, two billion kids live on the planet. One billion of them are “multi-dimensionally poor – without access to education, health, housing, nutrition, sanitation or water.”
Many are not able to go to school. Education has been called the “greatest way to eliminate poverty” from experts.
So what's the solution?

Basketball tournaments, art shows, open mic nights, bake sales, video game nights, volleyball tournaments, New Year’s Eve parties, writing cards, etc – young people have blown us away!

What is JamQuest?
JamQuest started in a middle school. An 8th grader decided to use his love for basketball to raise money for kids in Kenya.
Since then, JamQuest has grown into a youth development organization that has inspired and mobilized thousands of kids all over the world to use their gifts, talents, and passions to help kids in need.
Hey, I'm Nick
I started JamQuest when I was 13 as an 8th grade service project. That year, me and 50 of my friends raised $3,000 to help kids in Kenya. Since then, JamQuest has continued to spread and grow.
I learned something huge that year. I started to believe that I could make a real difference if I just decided to care.
And I’ve dedicated my life to helping young people believe they can do the same.
I live in Atlanta, GA with my wife and two kids and work as a Youth Minister alongside my work with JamQuest. I work with students every day and am constantly learning about what helps this generation thrive. I’ve worked with youth in Kenya, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, South Africa, and around the U.S. and have seen firsthand how young people can change the world.
Why is this important?
OPEN. RELATIONAL. AMBITIOUS. ANXIOUS.
These are just a few words that describe Generation Z. They are open-minded and innovative, eager to embrace new ideas and perspectives. They are deeply relational, valuing connections with people over institutions. They are ambitious, driven by a burning desire to make an impact in the world. Yet, amidst their potential, they grapple with unprecedented levels of anxiety.
We believe today’s youth need spaces where they can unleash their dreams, transform creative ideas into reality, serve others, and engage in meaningful work with friends. And you could be the one to kick-start it.
